AGENTS OF POLLINATION

INSECTS:

Insects get attracted to the bright color of the flower. They come for the nectar and sit on the flower. The sticky pollen grains stick to their body. Now when the insect goes to any other flower, the sticky pollen grains go along with the insect.

WIND:

Pollen grains are really light in weight, so when there is wind, the pollen grains tend to flow with the wind.

WATER:

The pollen grains of aquatic plants tend to fall in the water, and they flow with water to other flowers in water.

ANIMALS:

Animals are also considered to be good pollinators. For e.g. Humming bird goes in search of food and pollen grains stick to them. Nectar feeding bats are another example.
